Syracuse training program targets urban youth for construction jobs
Mayor Stephanie Miner and Otis Jennings, regional president for the National Association of Minority Contractors, today announced the launch of a free jobs training program targeting inner-city youth.
Jennings said the program, which combines 395 hours of classroom and hands-on training, will provide participants with nationally recognized certificates and the skills necessary to land jobs in the construction industry.
